I think a great teammate for Nico would be Esteban Ocon of Alpine. He’s got a F1 victory and three podium finishes on his resume as well as proven race point finishes where he beat his inimitable teammate Fernando Alonso. He’s tough, smart, quick, talented, tenacious and is at his best when passing and competing against the top five F1 drivers.

Bearman just signed with RedBull a few days ago.. he will not drive in Ferrari anytime soon, and likely not Audi as well..

Nico,Audi is just great, Audi will have the pockets and technology to give a great driver a shot at the top, I think Audi will make a splash if F1 and Nico will help rocket them there!

personally i would love to see a Hulkenberg/Bottas combo as they bring in lots of experiance with them, and bottas is a 10 times grand prix winner so there is a high chance of them signing bottas (if sainz does'nt sign with audi)

I think Newey wants a future in Ferrari but not only designer of Formula 1 cars, much more then that he wants to design Ferrari's new generation commercial cars too. So I belive one day Newey will join Ferrari its inevitable. Question is when?

This strategy sounds like participation trophies.

Top 10 = "Red" points (as currently allocated) Bottom 10 = "Blue" points (as currently allocated for to 10) Red point = 1.75 x Blue Point. That'll mix up the mid field.

They are not interested in changing the big teams always win, DNA of business heads of F1. We have have to be talking about a (serious) regulation which closed the gap between teams and not this convenient way to bring bottom team to the zone point in the most easy way.

There should be points for all cars Here's my suggestion 1st -100 pts, 2nd -75 pts ,3rd -65 pts ,4th -55pts ,5th -45 pts, 6th -35 pts, 7th 30 pts, 8th - 25 pts, 9th - 20 pts , 10th 15 pts , 11th -10 points , 12th - 9 points , 13th - 8 pts , 14th - 7 pts , 15th - 6 pts , 16th - 5 pts , 17th - 4 pts , 18th - 3 pts , 19th - 2 pts, 20th -1 pt. 10 bonus pts for pole and 5 pts for fastest lap. This would separate the drivers at the back with currently no points and show who is really performing and who isn't . Thoughts ?

What a joke, who cares if they are fighting for 1 point it none? Are they saying that at the moment they don’t go for 11th and just give up if they are running 12th? All it’s doing is rewarding poor performance and the lack of ability to improve.
